Description  

This unique, handcrafted item it is a beautiful art object in itself, but is especially enchanting when you hear the deep, long-lasting sounds it makes when you carefully strike the bell with the striker.  
Pearl shells are carved and decorated with luminescent shells and other shellfish on lacquer and wood; which is a representative technique of Takaoka lacquerware.
The TENRIN design expresses the fireworks that color the night sky with a beautiful pearlescent that changes depending on the viewing angle.

Their beautiful sounds can be heard all over Japan from train station to school bells.
