Japanese chopsticks, also known as "hashi" in Japanese, are one of the most commonly used eating utensils in Japan. They are typically made of wood, bamboo, or plastic, and are much narrower and shorter than Chinese chopsticks. Japanese chopsticks have a pointed end and a blunt end, with the blunt end used to hold the chopsticks while the pointed end is used to pick up food.
