Jūbako are Japanese boxes for food presentation that allow you to not only beautifully present your food, but also transport it. They are often used to serve food, like sushi, at parties, or as a collective "bento" box to eat outside during e.g. hanami (Cherry blossom viewing events in spring). 
These beautiful boxes are made by the traditional pottery craftsmen of KANEKO KOHYO. They are made in beautiful brown lacquer and come in 1, 2 or 3 tiers. 
Spare tiers and lids are available on request.  

NOTE: KANEKO KOHYO collections are handmade per order and can take up to 1 month before they can ship.

Kaneko Kohyo Pottery was established in 1921. Based on ancient techniques and local know-how, the team of 20 employees creates traditional products designed to suit both traditional and modern Western lifestyles. Since their foundation, they have focused on the art of ‘monozukuri’ (literally, manufacturing things) that delivery happiness to their users in their daily life, while staying loyal to the history and tradition of "Mino ware".
