Japanese handcrafted candles have a very strong, wind-resistant flame, which may be difficult to blow out. That is where this beautifully designed candle extinguisher from Matsui comes in handy! With a four leaf clover and a nicely curved handle, it will help you to carefully snuff your candles without creating dangerous situations with the large flame or hot wax. Ideal for candles up to size 20!

Matsui Candle Atelier has been established in 1907, and manufactures traditional Japanese-style candles with environmentally-friendly ingredients. The company exercises particular care in selecting high quality raw materials. Valuable plant-derived Japan waxes, produced in Kyushu and Wakayama, are used for group and cover coats, while rushes are used for the wick. Matsui candles therefore generate minimal soot, are wind resistant, and provide a soft, warm, and gentle light. Half-spent candles collected from temples are recycled to make red candles.
