This delicious, authentic jam is made from two types of Japanese Ume plums. It is using ripe and green ume to achieve a beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity. As a unique twist we use small chunks of ume that were soaked in liquor to make Umeshu plum wine and add them to the jam for an extra deep flavor experience!
Delicious on bread, cake, yogurt, ice cream, and more!  

During the cooking process most of the alcohol evaporates, but we don't recommend this product for children!

The company was established in 1871 by the last chief cook of Odawara castle - Monya KOMINE - and is now run by the fifth generation of the KOMINE family.
