This wooden tub is made of high quality Kiso Sawara Cypress, from the Kiso area. It is a durable type of wood that is unique in its resistance to water, making it very suitable for home and kitchenware. Able to withstand moisture and acid, and with antibacterial properties, it allows you to serve your rice dishes without them becoming soggy or sticky. The faint scent of wood also enhances the deliciousness.
In addition to sushi, the tubs are also great for, amongst others, sashimi, noodle dishes and other rice dishes. 

The tubs come in sizes from 21 ~ 48 mm in diameter and can be used to serve several people at once - making it great for both households as restaurants.
