Ejima's "EJIMAEN" Sencha is a blend of different Sencha teas from Shizuoka. An experienced tea master uses leaves from different locations to compose a tea with a nice balance of sweetness and slight bitterness.
EJIMAEN means Ejima Garden and this tea is the most popular amongst the teas sold by Ejima.
A tea company with 400 years of history
Established in 1661 the company is now run by the 17th generation of the EJIMA family. EJIMA focuses on selling tea from famous tea area Shizuoka and Japanese paper.
In its early days the company recognized that tea from Shizuoka had great potential and the family since then keeps a close relationship to tea gardens and farmers to ensure high quality at reasonable prices.
