This T-shirt is part of the Hokusai project of Kume T-shirt company. Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese artist for Ukiyo-e woodblock prints. This design is based on one of his master pieces portraying Mount Fuji shining through a dark, rainy night, while lightning strikes. Creating a beautiful, dramatic scene, this T-shirt is definitely an eye-catcher.

At the foot of the lightning clouds, the mountain surface of Fuji lies peacefully.
Since the mountain surface of Fuji changes from red to jet black, it is one piece with [Yamashita White Rain], which has the nickname of Black Fuji. In the midst of the white rain, or sunset, even in the moment when lightning rushes through dazzlingly, Fuji emerges from the dark clouds and towers as if unaware of the commotion of the world below. By capturing the contrast between the summit and the foot of the mountain in one diagram, it is an impressive one with Hokusai's masterpiece depicting the majesty of Fuji on the back, and lightning running through the chest.
