Kawara Senbei are Japanese crackers made of wheat and shaped like a tile. Matsuzaki Senbei is famous for their delicious, traditionally made Kawara senbei that they even now still make with their old-fashioned baking mold, rather than modern equipment. Experiences craftsmen ensure the quality one-by-one to ensure perfect flavor balance and crispness.
This "beans" flavor uses ikari beans which sweetness gets deeper the more you chew on them. The crackers are sprinkled with salt to create a delicious contrast and bring out the sweetness of the beans even more. This is a traditional, very popular flavor!

Matsuzaki Senbei was established in 1804 in Tokyo. The third generation established the
main shop in Ginza - Tokyo's most prestigious shopping district. Today Matsuzaki Senbei
is run by the 6th generation of the Matsuzaki family. Matsuzaki Senbei is well known for
its tile shaped kawara senbei and also produces many other exquisite crackers with different
flavors and textures.
