Western style umbrellas MADE IN JAPAN

TOKYO NOBLE is an umbrella designer and craftsman based in Tokyo since 2010. They craft umbrellas from scratch and allow customers to fully customize their umbrella in-store. Their umbrellas have won several awards and are known for their sturdiness, high quality and bold colors. Their unique "Vegetabrella" design, looking like a lettuce when folded, have gained popularity in- and outside of Japan.

TOKYO NOBLE is run by a handful of skilled craftsmen that are passionate to bring color and comfort to people's daily life, through high quality umbrellas.

 

Each umbrella is crafted by hand and can be fully customized from handle, color, fabric and accessories. Their umbrellas are especially popular as personalizable, useful gift. 

In Japan umbrellas are commonly used; both during the rainy season, as well as during the hot summer months to protect against UV rays. Yet, 90% of umbrellas are made in China and relatively low quality. The TOKYO NOBLE craftsment therefore started their workshop in 2010 to create beautiful, fashionable, and especially durable umbrellas for those who want to use them a long time. 

The biggest difference with mass-produces umbrellas is the functionality:

Handmade umbrellas will open and close effortlessly, are light and sturdy, and will last a long time. 

 

TOKYO NOBLE furthermore offers various customizations that will make the umbrella perfect to you, and offer returns in-store so that you can use your umbrella for a lifetime! 

Even a simple umbrella can be customized in different ways to your preference: 
Lenght: longer umbrellas are more suitable for tall people, whereas shorter ones may be more comfortable for short people.

 

Fabric: The fabric will impact what noise the rain makes when dropping. If you enjoy the sound of rain, or are very sensitive to loud sounds, you may request a specific material. 

 

Pattern: TOKYO NOBLE works with 77(!) colors and several patterns

 

Accessories: Tassels and customized handles make your umbrella easier to find, and allow you to express your style even in poor weather. 

VEGETABRELLA

One of TOKYO NOBLE's most successful designs is the "Vegetabrella" - designed to look like a lettuce.
It is a fun, playful design that brings joy and laughter, while also being a high quality daily item.
Small and compact, it can easily be carried around. Once opened, it looks unique and can easily be spotted.

It can be used against rain and uv rays, so you can't go wrong carry it in your hand bag.
