Tsuge combs and brushes are individually hand-carved and one piece of wood makes a single comb. These types of combs were used by Samurai to manage their topknots, and are still used by Sumo wrestlers, whose hair is an important part of their appearance, as well as by Geisha for their complicated hair- and wig art. Select the comb or brush suitable for your hair based on the number, distance and pattern of teeth, as well as your preferred handle length and decorations.
