The craftsman has developed a traditional coloring technique that could only be expressed with cast products, and have succeeded in developing colors on thin copper plates of 1 mm or less. He is particular about the authentic colors drawn from copper and brass and continue to pursue possibilities.

Color Technique:
Orii artificially generates the characteristics of copper and other metal materials such as corrosion and rust, creating a unique texture and color.

Cook color:
The metal is stewed in a saucepan with a mixture of copper sulfate and copper carbonate to develop a color called "simmering color".

Bran-yaki:

The dough is coated with bran miso and baked on a burner. After the bran, it becomes a pattern.
