This T-shirt features the oldest brewery in Iwate Prefecture in Northern Japan famous for their gentle sake that enhances the local dishes. The T-shirt is part of Kume Company's collection of T-shirts featuring famous sake breweries and their brands.

The Nakatsu River flows near the brewery of Kikunotsukasa Sake Brewery, Iwate's oldest sake brewery. Using the underground water of the beautiful Nakatsu River, where ayu in summer and salmon rise in autumn, rice and brewers are brought together. With harmony, we will make sake the heart of sake. That is the sake brewing of Kikunotsukasa Brewery. It is one piece with the wish to bear witness to the gods of good fortune of the brand "Seven Lucky Gods" that represent Chrysanthemums, Daikokuten, Ebisu, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin, and Hobukuro.

< Sake Brewery Collection >

This collection is made in collaboration with traditional sake breweries. The t-shirts are decorated with the sake labels of brewers that have been "protecting" part of Japanese culture and brewing skills. The designs represent brewers from all over the country, established even during the Taisho or Meiji era, to celebrate the rich cultural history of Japan and to ensure their future by creating awareness with a younger, international audience.
